For over 30 years, Karen George has been deeply connected to Cary Sister Cities, first supporting from the sidelines and since 2010, as a dedicated Board member. Alongside her husband, who has been part of CSC since its inception in 1988, Karen has hosted exchange students, planned local events, and traveled to sister cities, building lasting connections along the way. Her contributions extends far beyond CSC, she has served as president of a local nonprofit, twice as PTA president at Cary High School, and on many executive boards and committees in the community. Today, Karen treasures time with their 18 grandchildren, enjoys entertaining, cooking, and gardening. She encourages you to get involved with Cary Sister Cities and experience its meaningful mission.
