Tom Herndon and his wife moved to Cary in 2001 with their son and daughter and over the years they added a rotating cast of pets including dogs, cats, a lizard, and even a bird. Having grown up in Germany, Tom joined Cary Sister Cities with the hope of helping Cary connect with a German Sister City. More to come on that… He jokes that if his household could juggle that many species under one roof, fostering friendships across cultures should be a breeze. Tom says he and his wife are grateful to have found such a wonderful place to call home.
