Born and raised in Istanbul, where East meets West, Yasemin’s early years inspired her lifelong love of the arts and global traditions. She moved to Cary eight years ago after marrying her husband Jeffrey and was drawn to the town’s warmth and cosmopolitan spirit. With experience as an educator, interpreter, and executive assistant, Yasemin helps Cary Sister Cities foster meaningful connections across borders. Passionate about cultural exchange, she supports local festivals and programs that celebrate diversity, building bridges that enrich our community.
